Sea Bright Reacts to the Tremor that Shook the Coast
People in Sea Bright today share their reaction to the earthquake and talk about what they were doing when it struck.
Bill Allingham, 19, of Holmdel is also a lifeguard at Chapel. He was working by the baby pool when the ground shook.
"I was very surprised because I really didn't know was was going on. I was sitting over at the baby pool in my stand. I felt this vibration, and thought a kid was messing with me behind the stand, like pushing it or something. I just looked around and it went on for about ten seconds. I just kind of let it go and shrugged my shoulders."
