Point Road School Showcases Student Artwork

Family and friends enjoyed art created by students ranging from pre-school to fourth grade at PRS in Little Silver.

Ballerinas inspired by Degas, astronauts ready to blast off into outer space, and eggs that would have made Faberge proud were all to be found at the Annual Point Road School Art Show on Thursday, March 24.

Over 2,500 pieces of art were showcased by kids in grades pre-school through fourth.  The pieces are an accumulation of all of the artwork created since school started last September.

Parent volunteers have been working feverishly with the Point Road School staff to display every single piece of art. And they continued to work after the show to dismantle the presentation and make sure that all of the work made it home to the proper artist.

Gift baskets were assembled and raffled off, and if you guessed the correct number of paint brushes placed in a transparent container you won a gift basket, too.
