Oceanport Schools Will Scrap Half Day if Delayed Opening Required
Tonight's predicted snow could change the schedule for tomorrow's planned half day.
Superintendent Andrew Orefice alerted Oceanport parents on Thursday that Friday's schedule will change if the predicted bad weather comes through.
Orefice sent this email:
In the event that tomorrow, Friday, January 18th, we have a delayed opening due to inclement weather, our scheduled half day will be canceled and we will dismiss at the regular times of 2:40 at Maple Place and 3:05 at Wolf Hill and the cafeteria will be serving lunch.
Of course if there is no need for a delayed opening, we will have our regularly scheduled half day of school.
As always, if we need to have a delayed opening tomorrow, this will be communicated by our call system and on our website.
