Congratulations to Movement Dance Academy of Eatontown for emerging as the clear Patch favorite in this week's Readers' Choice survey of dance studios in the greater Two River area, with more than 2,800 votes.

Kathryn Barnett School of Dance in Red Bank received nearly 1,000 votes.

While multiple voting is possible in our unscientific poll, the high numbers, comments and other feedback reflected passionate support for the favorites.

"My daughter is a dancer at Movement Dance Academy and spends quite a bit of time there and loves it!" wrote Charlene DeFazio. "The confidence, skill and patience that my daughter learned from these professionals will follow her through life."

"Kathryn Barnett doesn't just each dance- she teaches joy, love and happiness, even in the face of adversity," wrote Susan Brillhart. "When I walk in the door, I feel cherished- even 33 years later!"
