The New Jersey Yacht Racing Association presented the trophy for the Doublehanded Bemis Cup Area C championship in Club 420s, which took place in July. Kendall and Gabi advanced after winning the Area C (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia) to The Junior United States Doublehanded Sailing Championships, held under the auspices of US Sailing.

Kendall is a dance major in the RBR Visual and Performing Arts Academy. Gabi attends MAST in Sandy Hook.
