Arrest Made in Little Silver Burglary

Evan Raczkiewicz, 19 of Lincroft was arrested on Aug. 2.

 

A Lincroft man was charged on Thursday with the burglary of a Little Silver residence last month.

Evan Raczkiewicz, 19 of Lincroft was arrested on Aug. 2 following an investigation of a burglary and theft at a borough residence, which was unoccupied at the time, on July 30.

Raczkiewicz was additionally charged with receiving stolen property in Red Bank, and all of the items taken were recovered.

The suspect was arrested in February for a separate burglary in Little Silver, according to Little Silver Police Det. Greg Oliva.

Raczkiewicz was held on $10,000 bail and taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Det. Oliva and Ptl. Peter Gibson of the Little Silver Police Department and Investigator Bob Campanella of the Red Bank Police Department investigated.

The penalty needs to be more harsh for these low lives. They'll just keep doing it over and over unless they spend some long time in jail.
