Alleged Thief Accused of Stealing from Little Silver Walgreens

The Colts Neck man was also arrested for allegedly stealing from churches in Holmdel and Red Bank.

A man accused of stealing scripts from a Little Silver pharmacy to obtain prescription drugs was arrested by Freehold Police and faces multiple charges.

Freehold Township Police arrested Robert Hanna, of Colts Neck, and charged him with stealing, forgery, and fraud, following multiple incidents that occurred last summer.

Hanna, 44, faces a total of eight charges after he allegedly stole prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and Little Silver Walgreens and used the stolen scripts to obtain prescription drugs.

According to Hanna’s complaint warrant, on June 18, July 23, and Sept. 25, Hanna forged the stolen prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and used them to obtain Adderall. On June 12, July 30, Aug. 13, and Sept. 20, Hanna also allegedly used the stolen prescription blanks from the Little Silver Walgreens to fraudulently obtain Adderall.

On Sept. 26, Freehold Township Police found Hanna in possession of a burglary tool, a small black hammer, and large locking blade knife, for which he had no legitimate purpose.

Since April, Hanna has been arrested and charged on separate occasions with the burglaries of St. Catharine's Church in Holmdel, St. James Catholic Church in Red Bank, and charged with a personal theft from a woman in Howell.

Hanna has been remanded for the CVS burglary to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $32,000 bail for all eight charges.
