The New Jersey Marathon and Long Branch Half Marathon are scheduled for May 6 and will run through Oceanport again this year.

The path the runners will take has changed slightly this year, with the starting line at the entrance to Monmouth Park Racetrack. Planning for the event is ongoing, but residents are advised that there will be road closures, in areas similar to past years, from roughly 6:30 a.m. until roughly 10:30 a.m.
